Since 2011, I am working as a PhD Researcher at the IDSIA (Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence; The Swiss AI Lab) under the supervision of Dr. Gianni A. Di Caro and guidance of Prof. Luca M. Gambardella. My PhD is affiliated with the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland.
I am currently working on the NCCR Robotics project "Symbiotic cooperation between humans and robotic swarms", funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). This project is a follow-up of IDSIA's research in the domain of swarm robotics (previous projects, Swarmanoid and Swarm-bots), and is collaborated with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), ETH Zürich (ETHZ), Universität Zürich (UZH), and IDSIA.
My research activities include: interaction and cooperation between humans and robot swarms, coordination in communication in networked multi-robot systems, bio-inspired computing and swarm intelligence, machine learning applications in robotics, and computer vision.
